Chris Moore is an innovative, thoughtful and strategic leader who is well-respected by those he has worked for, with and who have worked under his direction. As Managing Broker for a leading firm within the industry, Chris oversaw incredible growth in revenue. Under his direction, the office went from virtually brand new to surpassing the sister office a city over in sales volume – one that had been open over five years prior. Each year, Chris has fostered gains in production largely due to his teaching and marketing abilities.
Prior to that, as Operations and Finance Manager, he led a start-up from conception to three locations and 40-plus staff members within just two years while being recognized as a finalist for Realtor Magazine’s 30 Under 30 feature.
Business wasn’t always the plan, however. A self-taught guitarist, Chris met a friend while attending college who mentioned he knew of touring musicians who did “real estate part-time.” Shortly thereafter, at 20, Chris got his real estate license and quickly discovered that to succeed in business it had to be a full-time venture. As the days of playing shows and recording were winding down, Chris’ focus became business and enjoyed a rapid rise from Realtor to business leader all before the age of 30.
Along the way, Chris successfully completed his B.A. in business and Master’s degree in accounting while working full-time and – during the Master’s program – being a father. He attributes his business success to being a genuine person and having competed while playing baseball at a high-level – which also taught him adaptability and how to lead by example – carrying that competitive edge to the business world.
Outside the office, Chris counts baseball, music (yes, still playing acoustically at home), golf, photography and the outdoors – quite specifically, ponds, lakes, and rivers – among his interests.
I consider myself one of the lucky ones. Growing up in North County, I experienced everything
that San Diego has to offer: the beaches, weather, people, food, and short drives to deserts and
mountains. Over the years, I watched our sleepy coastal towns transform into thriving beach
communities. And after a few short stints away from the area, I came to have an even deeper
appreciation for everything that sets San Diego apart from the rest of the country.
My approach as an agent has been shaped by my nonprofit background: simply put, I care deeply for my clients’ needs and strive to provide them with the best solutions to meet those needs. In an industry in which so much is reactive (to the market and to circumstance), I strive to be proactive instead, anticipating numerous scenarios, being creative in negotiations, and taking the time to equip my clients with the knowledge they need to make the most educated, favorable decisions possible.
When I’m not working, you can find me at a coffee shop or the beach (usually with my rescue
dog, Sully, in tow), playing or coaching sports, teaching myself a new song on the guitar, or
trying a new local restaurant or brewery with my wife, Bethany
I have been a resident of San Diego since 1987, which has given me a strong sense of the diverse communities that make up our “Metro” area neighborhoods. Hillcrest has been my home for most of that time, living briefly at the beach and in the historic neighborhood of Burlingame. I have been a Realtor since 1998, helping both buyers and sellers with their purchases and sales of their homes. Whether it is that magnificent Mid-century masterpiece, unique car property, the historically significant home or that perfect Spanish Style Casita, I take great pride in helping my clients find that perfect place to call home.

My family is everything to me so that is why my portfolio picture is of me AND my family! I have spent 30 years in real estate, starting with a four-unit apartment building I bought in 1994. I moved into that apartment and slowly built a small portfolio of properties in the Bucktown / Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. My family then relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina so I could show the world to my children and to try to become bilingual. When we finished our time there, instead of moving back to Chicago, we decided to go on another adventure and relocated to Encinitas, CA.
We look forward to the next decade and being able to take advantage of everything that California has to offer.
A few years in, Denisa left the label to collaborate with a former NY friend in a music management role. The two woman team co-managed 4 bands located in various parts of the US. In 2009, Denisa got involved with charity organizations and began working large scale events handling celebrity logistics and backstage management. She followed this music passion further by continuing her education and in May 2011 completed her certifications in Recording Arts, Sound Reinforcement, Digital Audio, and Performance Technician. She also coincidentally dove further into her yoga studies and currently holds a 500-hour RYT certification in both Yoga and Pilates, with specialties in rehabilitation, stand up paddleboard formats and pre- & postnatal practices. In August 2016, after becoming more and more interested in spending weekends at Open Houses, Denisa got her Real Estate license, with a little nudge of her mom, Maria Petricko who has been a realtor in Temecula/Inland Empire for well over a decade and half.
Since finding the desire to heal people on an mental and physical level thru yoga and Pilates came so naturally, Denisa is now passionate about wanting to achieve the same level of integrity with finding her clients the happiness in the purchase or sale of their home. She is a go-getter that will nurture your home buying/selling journey, and make the process as peaceful as she would your yoga practice, but with the heart as if it was her own home. In addition, she is also a RESA Certified Staging Advocate and a Compass Certified Real Estate Professional.
Denisa can occasionally be found teaching group and private Yoga & Pilates classes around town, and is still involved in the music scene, occasionally hitting the road as a audio tech or tour/stage manager for Jeff Bridges and The Abiders or handling sales for Jimmy Messina, or managing various aspects of a number of music festivals around the country. Denisa has never been a person to say no to a challenge and is always willing to get her hands dirty.
Prior to earning his real estate license, Russell worked in securities for a great number of years, specializing in commodities, stocks, and mutual funds. His background in finance gives him firsthand knowledge of reading investments and understanding shifts in the market. “I can sit down with a client, regardless of their goals, and walk them through the benefits of their investments, and since I have an understanding of the cost of borrowing money, I am able to help my clients find the right property for them, and also determine the best finance options, too.”
Helping people is Russell’s favorite aspect of real estate, and business in general. “I like finding that ‘Diamond in the Rough’ for my clients, where a home checks off all the boxes and is exactly what they are looking for.” In order to best help his clients, Russell is a steadfast believer in building a solid foundation of trust. Honesty and a sincere approach to client relationship building creates instant credibility and a connection with others. “Buying a home is the biggest investment most people make in their lives. Because of the magnitude of the decision, it is imperative that my clients and I trust each other, and they know that Their interests, are my number one concern.”
Russell served in the United States Marine Corps for 6 ½ years and his time in the Marines instilled demonstrable leadership qualities that he still proudly displays to this day. “Traits learned such as Justice, Dependability, Judgment, Initiative, Integrity, Loyalty, Knowledge, Unselfishness, Bearing, Enthusiasm, Tact, and Endurance, are important qualities in a Marine, as well as a Real Estate Agent,” says Russell. Understanding how to work with people on a fundamental level, while working toward accomplishing their goals with them, has been paramount to Russell’s success as a REALTOR®.
